How We Work

To ensure that we’re responsive to the real needs of the islands, foundation staff and board members maintain close relationships with the public schools and nonprofits serving these island communities.

This allows us both to participate in early planning for longer term area projects and also to react quickly to short term or emergency needs. We use our close relationships with partner organizations to direct funds to the areas where they are most needed.

This year, we’d like to ask you to help us continue to do our essential work in the community.

Help Mt. Zion Students in 2021

Considering the needs of Mt. Zion students, we are again reaching out for your support and asking you to make a monetary donation and let us do the shopping on your behalf based on each teacher’s Wish List. We will use the funds received to purchase supplies and uniforms before the school year begins and as needed throughout the year. Your support goes even further if we receive your donations before the state’s tax-free weekend, which begins this year on August 6.
