Education Is Always Our Mission
It's that time of year when Kiawah Cares focuses on education -- each year, as schools are finishing up for summer, we're gearing up to meet the needs of the next year.
Of coursen, this year is different. As it stands the schools are not in a position to discuss needs for the upcoming school year. Until they determine what the school year will look like, we cannot make plans. We do know needs exist and we will want to be ready to help when the asks come in. We will always support literacy efforts in the community and are working more closely with teachers to assist with continuing education expenses. We will continue to assist the schools in their efforts to keep well-rounded programs that attract young minds to our local schools – arts, STEM, sports and the like.
This year, with so many of our annual events and programs cut short due to the coronavirus, we’d like to take a walk down memory lane. Below are some of our favorite education images from more normal times.
